1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms of Service form an agreement between you and Regardful, LLC, doing business as OutreachOne. By accessing or using OutreachOne, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The OutreachOne pilot
OutreachOne is an invite-only private beta in Waikīkī. It helps community members submit care-kit outreach requests, lets eligible pilot members fund approved requests, and gives authorized workers tools to coordinate and record outreach attempts.
OutreachOne is not an emergency response, medical, shelter-placement, or law-enforcement service. Call the appropriate emergency service when someone faces immediate danger.
The pilot may change, pause, or end. Features, service areas, eligibility, kit contents, and availability may change as we learn from operations.
3. Accounts, invitations, and roles
- You must provide accurate information, protect your sign-in credentials, and promptly report unauthorized access.
- You may use only the role and permissions assigned to you. Worker and operations access may require additional verification.
- Invitations are limited, may expire, and may not be sold or transferred without permission.
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an OutreachOne account.
4. Requests, privacy, and outreach outcomes
Submitting a request is free and does not guarantee funding, worker assignment, contact, acceptance of a kit, or a particular outcome. Conditions may change before a worker arrives. An unsuccessful but truthfully recorded attempt is a valid outcome.
Requesters may attach an optional, lawfully obtained locating photo before an outreach interaction, including a photo of a person in a public area. You must have the right to upload the photo for this purpose. Do not trespass, intrude into a place where a person reasonably expects privacy, or upload intimate or unlawfully obtained images. Taking a photo in public does not itself authorize every later use of that photo.
OutreachOne does not require a separate permission confirmation for this private locating use. Access is limited to authorized operations personnel and the assigned outreach worker. Locating photos must not be used for public fundraising, advertising, or public recipient profiles. A written description remains an alternative.
Requesters must not publicize exact locations, impersonate a recipient, or provide unnecessary sensitive information. Authorized workers must follow privacy guidance, ask before a handoff, and record consent truthfully. A locating photo does not establish consent to a handoff, a recipient profile, a delivery-proof photo, or public sharing. Apart from the restricted locating use described above, recipient identity and photos may be shared only with affirmative consent and appropriate authorization.
5. Funding and payments
Funding is a one-time contribution toward an approved OutreachOne request. The payment supports OutreachOne’s coordination and provision of the described care kit; it is not a direct payment to a recipient and does not purchase a kit for the contributor.
Stripe processes payments under its own terms. You authorize the displayed amount when you confirm payment in Stripe Checkout. If a request cannot proceed, OutreachOne may offer the available refund or reallocation options described at the time. We do not represent that contributions are tax-deductible unless expressly stated in writing.
When the optional “next approved kit” feature is available, no person or request is assigned at payment time. OutreachOne applies the full $40 payment to the next eligible, approved Waikīkī request in order of availability. If the payment remains unallocated for 30 days, OutreachOne initiates an automatic refund to the original payment method. This beta policy and its final legal wording remain subject to business and legal review before the feature is enabled.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use OutreachOne to:
- Harass, exploit, surveil, discriminate against, or endanger another person.
- Publish recipient information, exact locations, private messages, or worker-only operational details.
- Submit fraudulent requests or payments, bypass access controls, probe the service for vulnerabilities, or interfere with operations.
- Use OutreachOne for commercial solicitation, political messaging, or unrelated advertising.
- Violate applicable law or another person’s rights.
We may suspend access or remove content to protect participants, operations, and the service.
7. OutreachOne SMS terms
OutreachOne SMS is an optional transactional program operated by Regardful, LLC. Invited pilot members and verified outreach workers may receive notifications about active care-kit requests, assignments, or private OutreachOne conversations after giving affirmative verbal consent.
- Opt-in: During pilot onboarding, a Regardful, LLC representative explains the program and records consent before enabling SMS. Consent is not a condition of participating or making a purchase.
- Frequency: Message frequency varies based on active requests, assignments, and conversations.
- Rates: Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan.
- Opt-out: Reply STOP to cancel SMS messages. You may receive one confirmation message.
- Help: Reply HELP for help or email jeremy@outreachone.com.
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers and delivery availability may vary. We may suspend or end the SMS program. See our Privacy Policy for how mobile information is handled.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
OutreachOne is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis during the beta. To the extent permitted by law, Regardful, LLC disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the extent permitted by law, Regardful, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses arising from a failed outreach attempt, unavailable service, third-party conduct, or unauthorized use of an account. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be limited.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaiʻi, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
9. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as the pilot changes. Continued use after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. Material changes will receive additional notice when required.
